19th March 2013

Dear Matt and Emily,

I feel that I had to write to you to let you know how delighted I am with the recent sale of my townhouse in Mentone.
My investment property had been previously listed with another local agent since late September/early October. Despite spending a huge amount of money on advertising and rental furniture (approx. $7000) in order to sell the property, no offer or sale was forthcoming during those 5 months.

As the settlement for my new house (1st May 2013) was drawing nearer my stress increased.
I decided to call Buxton’s knowing that this was a reputable, local agent. I am thrilled that I did. I emailed Matt and received a reply within the hour . I wanted to know how to change agents when I was lacking confidence with the current one.

I met with Matt within the week and was blown away with his enthusiasm and confidence. I was talked through the whole process (in changing agents) and felt confident this would be a good decision. I signed on the spot (for Buxton’s to become my agent).

From then on the whole process was amazingly easy. Everything was organised for me. The exchange of keys, new advertising and dealing with the other agent. It was such a relief. Emily had almost daily contact with me to keep me informed at every step of the way. What a great team you both make!
You had the photos on the internet within a day and the brochures within 3 days.
The first open conduct was last Saturday 16th March 2013. Less than 14 days since our initial meeting.
What can I say?

I received a call that very afternoon and there had been an offer. That offer was turned into a signed contract the same day. The price you achieved (with all things considered) was great. I only wished I had changed to Buxton’s earlier and saved myself so much stress!
I am delighted with the result and cannot recommend you highly enough for being professional, well-organised and a pleasure to deal with. You made the process easy and I am very thankful to you.
I congratulate you both on a job well done.

My very best wishes

Michelle Kehoe
